Understanding the 30-Minute Skills Challenge
The 30-minute skills challenge is a rigorous assessment designed for highly experienced trauma RNs who have completed the TNCC multiple times. It serves as a comprehensive skills test, assessing proficiency in trauma nursing without providing any instruction. With a pass rate around 80%, participants must be exceedingly familiar with the Trauma Nursing Process (TNP).
$250 for TNCC Course and Book $100 = $350
Successful completion awards 9 Continuing Education (CE) credits. It is crucial to adhere to the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) guidelines for the TNP, as non-compliance results in failure without refunds.
To succeed, meticulously review pre-course modules, understand the virtual TNP testing format and online written test, and practice hands-on skills regularly. Utilize resources like practice tests and peer discussions to enhance readiness. Success hinges on a comprehensive understanding and adept application of the ENA’s guidelines during the timed skills test.
